Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing one of Kifaru's Slick Bags and I would like to know what size of bag current Slick Bag owners are using for their height/build. I'm 6'1" 200 pounds and broad shouldered. I've read that these bags have good width in the regular width however, I'm not sure if I need to go with a long length. All suggestions are appreciated 😁

Im 5 10 and 160lbs and the regular is very roomy.
I just have got a 0 degree bag and found it to be not all that warm to be honest. have spent a few nights elk hunting in CO which was fine but I was cold on my last 10 day moose hunt, had to wear my down jacket to sleep.(might just be soft?! haha)

Thanks fellas, i appreciate your comments. If I do end up going with the Slick Bag I will of course ask for Kifaru's recommendation as well. On a side note are you guys satisfied with the overall warmth and comfort with the Bag? Examples of which degree rating you selected and what temperatures you slept in with said bag of choice would be perfect. :D Thanks!

Mine is a 20 deg and I haven't got cold yet. Using a good pad helps. But used mine in a hammock and woke up to the ground frozen and was sweating in mine and all I had on was some merino boxers but I did have one of those green foam thermarest pads under me. I'm a hot sleeper to though just as long as my feet don't get cold
Forgot to mention mine is the newer center zip

I am a cold sleeper, but definetly dont't feel my side zip 0 degree bag is as warm as my 0 ds. And Big Agnes are always considered liberal with their tempreture ratings. This is just my experience. Overall I lime my slick bag

I just got a 20* regular wide center zip slick bag. I am 5'10" and weigh 245#, suit jacket size is around 52 to give you an idea of chest size. I have been sleeping in a regular width and length TNF Cat's Meow for several years and it was always snug inside for me, especially around the shoulders. Having the wide in my slick bag is really nice, it gives me room to move my arms freely rather than having to make a concious effort to do so when in the bag. When I stand up in the slick bag the regular height gives me room above my head but when I lay down in it and bend my legs or move around that extra space above my head gets reduced.

So, I would suggest that you go with the long and wide version of the slick bag. You will appreciate teh extra room inside and if it is "too long" you can always cinch the hood down if you want.

I have spent one night in it and slept fine. I was also in a hammock, with a Big Agnes I-Core sleeping pad under me and the slick bag opened up and used like a sleeping quilt. I was nice and warm and the weather got down to at least 33* based on the min/max thermometer another guy nearby had.

I have an older side zip regular bag and am 6'1" and 195-200 depending on the week. I'm also a side sleeper and have ample room to comfortably sleep.
