Kifaru Sawtooth w/ Nest from Bear Paw Designs

I finally got the nest stuck in the sawtooth. Initial impression is I’m kind of sad the nest isn’t the full width of the shelter. There’s a bit of room on each side, but it is the perfect width for 2 sleeping pads or a double sleeping pad as shown. I originally got this thinking it can be inserted while using a stove, but quickly thinking that may not work. Worth a shot, I’ll update as we use it.

Did you set it up with the rear pole outside the Sawtooth? I don't think I fit between the poles in mine.

No I set it up inside. The nest actually has a reinforced floor where the pole goes and a spot for the top of the back pole. That’s one thing I need to fine tune and look at putting the pole on the outside or ditching it and using a taller stick or trekking pole

BP did a custom 1/2 nest for my Kifaru Tut. It fits entirely down one side of the Tut, the other 1/2 tent side is open.
for bug season, love it!
Now use it for all seasons as the BP nest is light weight too.
