I've been looking for a picture of the rear pole delete mod, I've found posts regarding it but the pictures are no longer active.
Anyone got pictures of the mod loop close up and also of a pitch using it?

Hmmm. One idea is to take a super ball or a pine cone and wrap cord around it and tie that off up to something

It's just a sewed piece of loop,super simple.

Are there clearance issues without it being secured higher up or over the pole?

It sewed directly on the hypalon patch,I think this is the best location because everything is reinforced there,if you do it on your own be sure to cover it with silicon.

when i was in denver,i took it by the shop and they sewed the loop on for me,(and i bought a parka and bag,lol!)

To be easier to sew you can sew it just lower the hypalon piece,sew it on the cordura patche.

While in Alaska last September I was wondefing if there an easy way to get rid of the rear pole To create more room, this makes sense.
