This year's Kifaru Northwest Rondezvous is going to be held July 18-20. It would be great if we could get a bunch of like-minded Roksliders together at the same.
Except for a few occasions, it has traditionally been a hike-in rondy. In as much as we all prefer to get away from the beaten path, it is just logistically easier to have a drive up or a very short hike to allow for kiddos to attend and have fun. Eating real food and drink is just a bonus.
Unless someone comes up with someplace new that would allow us to drive up, have open fires, have plenty of room to spread out shelters, fish a lake or good streams, and have a place nearby to safely shoot out to 1,000 yards or more without disturbing the main camp, we'll likely rondy where we did last year. So, location somewhat TBD...think central Washington in the mountains west of Yakima.
Feel free to shoot me PM either here or over on Kifaru. Or, simply ask the question here and I won't have to answer the same one a hundred times.
Put it on your calendars. It's always a good time spent with good people.
