Kifaru - Ranger Green or Ranger Blue?

Like I said in my post, its probably not going to be that big of a deal. In the end I'm running the pack either way cause I hear nothing but great things about the pack. I'm more curious to see how much of a difference it will

Its not too much to ask for to get what you ordered no matter how much you spend. I bought mine last year and love the ranger green i got. Its too bad others are needing to deal with this. I will make sure I dont order any pockets for a while.

I'm guessing if the color was a huge difference they would have refused to use it. Kifaru is the best concerning quality control. Don't forget that before you complain about something you haven't seen yet. I'm not being a wise guy. It's just impossible to say that without sounding bad.

The RG on my Urban Ruck is definitely not the same RG as the belt pouch I have mounted on it. It’s close enough for me, but ironically probably not close enough for government work

Yea...the "true ranger green" products just got a little more expensive in the used market. I'm thinking like a 50% increase for sure

I noticed this as well with some belt pouches and asked Kifaru. They said their fabric vendor had some color calibration issues and this different hue is the result of that.

I asked them if they will get the original Ranger Green (the earthy green OP mentioned) back and they said yes, but not until they use up the current batch of fabric. They said there’s quite a lot of the current batch left so they couldnt say when.

I’m so OCD about matching Ranger Green that I am gonna wait especially since I don’t have a pressing need for the pouches.

For the cost of Kifaru this should never happen. Very disappointed in the QC.

Unfortunately ranger green is like wolf grey in that no 2 manufacturers seem to use the same color. I guess inconsistencies are part of the game

I believe my bag and pouch were ordered during the sameish time frame. The pouch is a different shade/color than the bag, but, only noticable when studied closely and not anywhere near a blue shade. That was the best picture I could get showing what I feel is true coloring.
Again, no complaints from me.
There is a difference in the greens, not enough for any issues though
