I wear 38 pants, i wonder how close this would fit for me? I am worried a medium would just be a hair small.

Kifaru says 39 in. Is where the large belt starts , I did wash it and it did shrink a little.I think it would work but your right on the border between the 2 belts.

I wear a 36-38 and the medium fits well.....but I have wondered if a large would give you a little more padding and girth especially in the cold temps when you are wearing more.

Why did you wash it?

I wash all my packs after getting them very dirty hunting, never had a problem washing them,no wear or stains on belt

I’m a 38” waist and prefer the extra hip wrap of the Large belt.
