I have an older fulcrum pack that doesn’t have the newer style squadron sleeve or the tensioning straps on the bottom. Just have always wondered if this makes any difference besides newer style ease of attaching bag to frame and adjustable load lifter angles.

Because it doesn't have the tensioners and just the 3 bar attachment it may try to shift upwards. Connecting your load lifters through the holes in the Hypalon frame sleeve should keep it from being able to come off the frame however. Shoot me a PM or email if you have any questions Bcoonce.
