Kifaru Mini Keg for my Son?

I'm looking at getting my son a new backpack for hunting and was thinking the mini keg might be just the ticket. I'm just wanting to get some feedback on the XS hip belt and how small it realistically is effective to.

If it’s for your kid and won’t be carrying a ton of weight you’ll find that a few of the “backpacking” brands offer a lot of great options for youngsters over the “hunting” brands. I’ve had nothing but incredible luck with the Osprey brand. Haven’t had any other brand pack last as long. Check out their “All Mighty Guarantee” warranty.

My thought is that as he grows and can carry more weight it will work better than cheaper bags. By the time he’s ready for a full on frame pack I can put my duplex belt and shoulder straps on it and use it as a daypack.

I'll let you all know when I get it. Frank got back to me this morning confirming that it should fit him. Said it may be a touch big, but he can grow into it. It'd be really awesome if the Mini Keg was the solution for a quality pack for my son.
