I thought I would get along with a top loader but I was wrong. I wish there were compression straps going across the back of the bag as well. If your not fully loaded up and compress the bottom straps it bunches up the belt pouches on the pack. I'm sure there are people who love it but I'm having a hard time trying to get it to work for me. One last thing, I wish it had an actual meat shelf.
