Kifaru load sling vs grab it

I need to up my ruck game this year. I’ve got an ark and grab it. Thinking I may strap a sand bag to it. Do you that have experience think picking up the load sling is worth it over just the grab it and a compression strap or two?

I've used both methods over the years and can't say one way is better than another. Just personal preference.

Biggest problem I've encountered was the removal of the upper common loops on the newer frames. It took away the option to really get a sandbag up high on your back.
