Kifaru KU belt question

I have a KU 3700 with a medium (5200) belt. Two days into any trip, I seem to lose about two or three inches off my waist, and suddenly the belt is too small. I've added padding to the lumbar region, but it's still not tight enough. I end up carrying the full weight of the bag on my shoulders.

So, I wanted to know if anyone has switched out the belt and replaced it, e.g., with a Bikini or other belt. I've posted a WTB ad, but in case that doesn't work--who, after all, has spare KU belts lying around?--I'm fishing for alternatives. Many thanks for any recommendations.

Could be wrong but I though that the KU hipbelts were intechangable with the Bikini hipbelts. Id just give Kifaru a call, theyll get you squared away.

I have a KU3700 and a Bikini frame. I'll check tonight and update my post if this is wrong, but I'm pretty certain you could swap the belts around if you wanted because they both use 3/4" webbing.

Edit: The webbing for the shoulder strap on my Bikini belt is 3/4", so that would work on the KU. The other 2 straps on the belt are 1" so it wouldn't be a direct fit. You could work around it, but it won't be plug & play.
