I've seen plenty of pictures where others have added zippers to their top loading bags and have been intending to do it to my own. I finally got around to it and I must say that I'm pretty pleased with the end result, should have done it sooner.

HAHA, yeah, I put a lot of thought into the entire process, from the cutting to the sewing and everything in between before I made that cut. I wanted to be absolutely sure that I knew what I was doing, what the end product would look like and what I had to do to get there.

Looks great. I'm in the process of designing a similar bag to have built to go with a Nomad. Looking at basically a modified camp bag around 7K cu in.
