Kifaru Frame Question

I'm getting a pack setup for Mountain elk hunting. This will be my first Kifaru pack. I purchased a Nomad bag and accessories from the classifieds. Now I need a frame. I have seen pictures and videos of complete frames in highlander camo but the website does not list it as an option when ordering. Did they stop offering frames in highlander? I can always try and find a used duplex frame in highlander but I'm guessing that will be pretty difficult. Coyote brown would be my next choice and I think it would look decent together.

Don't quote me, but I think when Kifaru quit making the bikini frame and went to the most current version of the duplex frame that they no longer offered frames in camo, just what's available on the website. All solids I think.

The Duplex hunter frame is black. You can get the shoulder straps and belt in various colors. Really makes no difference. Once your pack is on you can not even see frame.

They did stop offering frames in camo. You could pick up an older generation, used camo frame, but as far as I know they never made the current generation in camo. A coyote frame will look slick with the highlander bag if you're concerned about that.

Do they sell belts and shoulder straps in highlander then? I see what your saying about the frame part being black and it's hidden anyway.

They only make the belts/straps etc in solids. This was a decision they made at the outset to ensure costs were kept relatively low. You will not find the new generation frames (including straps/belt) in anything other than solid colours.

The Coyote frame will look great with a highlander bag.

Ordered the hunting frame yesterday... I went with the ranger green straps and the rest of my stuff is highlander.
