Kifaru belt sizing?

Looking for some insight.....on their website it shows the option for an xsmall belt with the duplex frames that's for 30" or smaller (small 31" - 34") but if you are purchasing just a belt, there is not an xsmall option and it says the small ranges from 28" -33".

I'm a 29" waist and I got a good deal on a used frame that has a small belt. Just wondering if anyone similar in size uses the small belt. Thanks!

I got a 31" waist and a small belt. I think you want a x small belt for a 29" waist. I could go tighter, but not to much tighter.

I'm right around 30" and feel like I still have some to work with if I needed to go tighter on the belt. Not sure if the waist size takes into account a shirt and pants but that'd add a little bit to make the belt fit better

I am in the same boat as you. Skinny as a rail. I have the small belt and have been needing to get an extra small but haven't got around to it. The small works, but with really heavy loads 60+ I am bottomed out with the small. I told the guys at kifaru that I was 28.5 to 29 inch waist and they shipped me the small. I would really like to try the extra small to see how it fits under load. It really depends on what load you are packing. I would like to have just a bit more under heavy load. I have a sand bag that comes In about 68 pounds and i feel that the load would ride better with another touch of tension on the belt.

I would definately recommend buying the pack. You can sell the small pretty easy if you think the extra small would be better. Talk to the guys at kifaru and I'm sure they can fix you up with what you need.

I'll try it out and if I need give them a call. Aron's been super helpful already. I'm just confused in why there is a difference in belt sizing when buying a complete frame and when buying alone.

I'm a 30" waist and the small bottoms out for me as well. I ordered an xsmall for my last frame and it fits perfect room to go either way depending on layering. I think you'll want an xsmall
