Comparing the Kifaru belt pouches to the MR Forage pocket, I saw this on the Kifaru website:

Small: 2.5oz. 143c.i. 8"w x 4"h x 1.5"d
Medium: 3oz. 215c.i. 9"w x 6"h x 2"d
Large: 3.5oz. 287c.i. 9"w x 7.5"h x 2.5"d

Those volumes don't make any sense. Unless Kifaru fell into that black hole and warped space-time...

I assume the dimensions are correct, but could someone with one of these pouches confirm that for me?

The dimensions are correct on the small/medium I have. I'm guessing Kifaru measured them using the bead/ball method (same as many backpack manufacturers use) and just stuffed them to the max to get the volume dimensions.

I've long wondered about their math. They claim the guide lid has more capacity (1200 ci) than the Native (1100 ci). There's absolutely no way.

Here is a stuffed guide lid on a stuffed native.
