Kifaru belt pouch size?

What size do you prefer? I'm looking to carry a days food (not breakfast and dinner), Delorme, smartphone, compass, maybe a couple other small items. Also want a pistol mounted on one side so I'm not really sure if I should have a pouch on that side or not. Suggestions?

You want all of that in one pouch or two? One pouch, you gotta go big. Two, you could easily fit that into mediums.

2 is fine if a pistol will fit too if not 1 will have to do.

I carry a medium on each side of my belt. GPS, Vortex rangefinder, compass, map, headlamp, liner weight gloves, power bars, Glock 29, and maybe some other odds and ends between both mediums with room to spare.

I carry my G30 in a small belt pouch. Tied in a kydex trigger guard and don't run anything else in the there with it. Granted, not a fast draw situation but it's concealed on my belt.

I don't think he was saying to put the pistol I the pouch. Should he run a pouch on the same side as a holster rig?

You could probably run a mini on same side as holster and keep smartphone and GPS in it. Then a medium or large on other side, not sure I would want large on hip belt though but I do run a medium and really like it.

You can fit a small pouch over the outside of a holster, compresses the pouch a little, still fit some granola bars and stuff in there. Probably wouldn't put anything fragile in there.

What kind of holster is that?

I have a holster now, but yes, I have carried it in there. Not a speed draw but it carries the gun safely and securely.

Blackhawk serpa with the molle adapter. I bet a medium would fit better over it and have more room, the small is snug but does fit.

It doesn't distort the belt at all?
