Kifaru Bane

Just got My Bane and with a 500 organizer pocket its gonna be a great whitetail pack. Calls ,clothes
Harness all fit great! Pack feels great on as well
Realy likin it.

I would like one as well but toying with the idea of how to get it to run on xray straps.

I ordered mine as soon as they came out and I LOVE this thing! From every day bag, stalking bag plus attached to my apollo for day hunting..


Loaded all my gear into it as I emptied out the apollo so I could use it and the meat shelf to pack out an elk. Brother in law stepped the bane to his day pack and hauled out my gear.

I wanted to do the same, however I’m getting used to the stock straps. Perhaps Kifaru will come out with an aftermarket XRay-like strap to turn the Bane into a more shoulderable lite daypack. Really liking the pack so far, though.

How did you like your Bane for whitetail hunting?

Have used it on about a dozen day hunts, many in a tree. I like it. I rig it to the back of my 44 Mag and like the ability to drop the big pack while still retaining enough carrying capacity with the Bane. The 44 Mag, with my tree stand fixed to it by a Grab It, and a Bane buckled to it makes for a great setup. The 44 gets dropped and covered by a tree, and the Bane goes up the tree with me. Really handy.
