I have a 4800 High Camp and have been eying the Argali's in the Rhino Den thinking a 7000 bag would be a nice complement to it and useful on some trips. I also have a guide lid, a belt pocket and a Grab It so my HC is a pretty flexible setup except for long backcountry or trying to haul out meat with camp when some additional volume would be nice.

So my question is, is the Argali really 7000 ci? The dimensions stated are 10"x10.75"x35", or alternately a 44" circumference. I'm having a hard time with my math making the bag come anywhere close to 7000? So is it a 7000 ci bag? I want to make sure its a good step up size wise from my 4800 High Camp since that's the only reason I'm looking at it! Thanks!

a 44" circumference would work out to roughly a 7" radius, so 10x10.75 vs a 14" diameter if it were round seems suspect too. I'll get you some measurements when I get a chance, but I'm fairly certain that they do beans for all their volume measurements. 35" seems about right on the height though.

the 10x10.75 and/or the 44" circumference/14" diameter doesn't seem right. I don't have it in front of me but I think my 4800 HC is wider and deeper than that......

I'm coming out with 5385ci with measurements. Missing about 1600ci. Has something to do with the beans I'm sure. The bag is giant though. I have pics if you want. Let me know.
