I know I will receive negative comments but:
I believe the switch from 1000 to 500 cordura is very cost effective for kifaru.
I realize " the rabbit hole" is towards ultra light gear..
But what about the other half of the populace that required durability over lightness??
I for one would like to see the emrII offered in @ the very least 1000 cordura on the bottom.
Yes, I know there is a double layer of 500..although this 2X layer does not equal the durability of the 1000 cordura.
I do not know where the EMR is designed to compress if 1000 would make this task impossible.., but I dare to venture that that would not be the case..
Personally, after dropping a grand on a backpack, I would like to think I have the best fabric for abrasion resistance, and don't have to worry about where or how I set my pack down.
Once again, personally, I would rather carry the extra weight and have it last the longest.
Any ideas, comments welcome
