I use a camp bag on the shelf for 5-7 day hunts. And if I need more room or a lid I use either a Sherman or gen 2 claymore. What you can do with this set up is limited only by your imagination.

Thank you! Does the guide lid work well in combination with the stryker, or do you prefer the Sherman? I love the belt pouches on the outside of the pack to make odds and ends more readily available.

OP, thanks for the heads up. I just ordered a Stryker XL bag and a Sherman Pocket. For me, these, on my existing frame, will make a perfect day hunting pack.

Needed a larger belt, but postage to Oz is steep for just a belt so grabbed a duplex lite frame, blaze Sherman couple of x pac pouches.... had bought a ma deuce on special last month as a larger pack for my tac 26” frame and with the sale I thought I can put the 44 on the duplex lite and make it more of a dedicated day pack....still more stuff I’d like ......but I know two frames is extravagant.
