kestrel 5700 elite with link and applied ballistics

curious... i just received mine and will use only lithium batteries in it be it my nature. anyone know the usage time befor replacement of batteries? my first kestrel....thanks in advance......

A very long time. When I did the review on mine, I didn't change it for several weeks, with a few days left outside in the snow and constant use. Even with the LiNK being used, the battery kept going. I finally replaced it when I updated the firmware. I'm running three weeks on a fresh battery now, with frequent use every day.

thanks for the reply, i like having an idea of what to expect.... your panhandle vids made it a breeze to set up. the unit is pretty cool... nice addition to my pack in the mtns.
