WTS Kentucky Cluster Diamond Ring

This was owned by my uncle who spent a lot of time at the horse track. Ring has 11 nice size diamonds and is 14K gold. Size 11. A buyer told me it would be worth about $3,500 to the right person, but the market would be limited. He offered me $1,100 thinking he would melt it down and repurpose it. Before I go that route, I thought Id see if anyone on-line might be interested in a large, flashy diamond ring. Derby is coming soon.... Will sell for $1,500. Glad to send more pics or meet FTF between Louisville and Lexington Ky.

Is that 7 large stones, 4 small? Any idea the size of the stones? O.D. with calipers would be fine...

Yep, 7 large, 4 small. As close as I can gauge, the large stones are right at .5mm wide, if that helps. The buyer I talked to said they were a little over 2 carats total. They look larger than that to me.

Davis Jewlers is our local, and highly respected jeweler. Twice a year they sponsor a buyers event where they have a few buyers come in, and they invite customers to meet with the buyers. I met with one of their buyers.
