How much did it cost you to get your boots resoled and how long did it take. Also some of the rubber material on mine that wraps around the the bottom of the boot is peeling from the top. You guys just shoe glue it back down or ?

If you go on the Kenetrek website, in the accessories, they sell the shoe glue. I would use what they sell. That way if you ever return them for resole or repair, they won't tell you that they can't repair it because you used the wrong stuff to attempt the repair yourself. I have read that sometimes the "rand" seperates from the boot if you use the wrong type of waterproofing on the boot. Again, I would only use what Kenetrek sells to waterproof or treat their boots.

Would like to hear what others have to say too. I got a pair of Hardscrabble Hikers last February and a few spots on the rubber rand are peeling (ever so slightly). I've only ever used Kenetrek's wax on them. So far no leaks or anything, only issue is my heels slip in them like they do with every other boot. Gonna try some new insoles to see if I can solve that, or just start using tape on my heels. But I am very curious to see others' experiences with their repair shop.

My boss had his resoled and got them back fairly quick, but he said they don't fit the same as they did before he sent them back.
