Kenetrek resole

Hey guys I want to or need to resole a pair of mountain extremes.

I don't want the original sole on them as it's too hard.

Who and what would you recommend to go with ?

Any idea what turn around time looks like using dave page? I have some lowas that need a sole, but dont know what to expect for cost or time

I'm sending mine off to him. He said he needed the boots in hand to see if finding a replacement size 16 sole would be possible. Charges 150$ +15$ shipping and needs 2-3 weeks for turnaround.
Looks like some other places I've found around the country are about 100-115$ for a resole, but with Dave's reputation it's a no brainer for me to use him. I just hope he can find the right sole, cause I haven't seen tibets in a 16 for sale in months now.

I thought about this with my original pair 20+ years ago. Loved those boots.

But since the membrane couldn't be replaced, I simply tossed them and bought new boots (different brand, didn't care for the new versions).

Still trying to find a pair as comfortable as the originals I had.

I know when I bought mine at Carter's in Bozeman, they said they resole Kennetreks.
