Based on research and information I learned from Rokslide I purchased a pair of Kenetrek hiking boots. While I've only worn them a few days I already know I love them. I'm going to wear these often so there are broken in for my fall elk hunt.

I've heard people suggesting orthotic inserts for these boots. I'm wondering if these are needed, and which brand would be best for someone with high arches.

Thanks in advance!

I have a high arch and I bought some made from New Balance. I like them and have heard others speak highly of Super Feet. I also bought a pair of Larhrop and Sons and don't recommend them for a high arch, however I used them on top of the factory insole that came with my Lowa's and like them ok when doubled up like that. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the input guys. I've got plenty of time to get these broke in and setup the way I want them. I'll try the Superfeet first and see how they do. Right now I'm pretty happy with the boots the way they are other than the arch support.

I run hardscrabbles and prefer the SOLE footbed over the superfeet green because of the softer cushion in the forefoot. Superfeet orange or the new Kenetrek insole might not suck to try either
