Impact's 75 degree bolts just drop in to their current 90 degree actions so there's probably some truth to this.
I'd think a 75° action should be designed as that from the ground up. Not an afterthought turned add-on. Gotta be some corner cutting going on. I could be totally wrong.

You're kind of right but it's a little more complicated. This is a post from Defiance on 75 degree bolts dropping into 90 degree actions. Essentially it's a combo of using extra available lug space as well as part of the lug being over the ramp, not uncovered entirely. So it's theoretically not quite as good as designing it as 75 degrees but whether that difference is a practical one is the question.

Did you buy direct from Kelbly? I’d love to do this to my Kelbly Atlas Tactical.
I did. Ordered two assembled bolts and it took a few weeks.
I'm thinking about selling one and keeping one though so pm me of your interested.

See that leads me to believe it's more than just the bolt. It's a coordination of primary extraction, cocking ramp and cocking piece cam helix interface between the action and the bolt that provides proper timing of the ignition system and action function.
I asked bat if medium vespers will have the option of 75° bolt;

The Medum and Long Vespers will never be 75 deg bolts due to the increased lug size to handle Norma mag and Lapua mag cases.

How much of a difference in bolt lift is there between the 2?
Its noticeable. Definitely prefer the lift of a 90 but its a tradeoff thats worth it in certain situations. Thats why I'm thinking to keep one and sell the other where I dont necessarily need the extra clearance

That makes sense for the longs, but why not the mediums? Oh well

300norma necked down to .25?

25norma aka 6um killer, seems like the only sensible step after 22um.

I've always wanted to design a short mag on the 588 base Norma parent. There's Prometheus' line of stomper or Alaskan short mags all done on them, but man it's a lot of work to make brass.
