Mid October in western WY is colder then other states I have hunted that time of year. I live in western Wyo and my upper set up is this for anything past the first week of October. FL Lano, Sitka cold weather hoodie, Sitka traverse cold weather hoodie, kifaru lost parka(warmest jacket ever worn) and a rain jacket, Sitka or FL.

Wish I can pay $900+ on just the upper body clothing. I am sure you have purchased those spread out over a few years, and not all up front together. This is my first hunting trip. So, my upfront costs are excruciatingly high. Boots, pack, clothes, other gear, etc. I am sure over the years I will build up a good arsenal through trial and error, but right now, I need a effective set up for Colorado in November, while also saving upfront costs.

After returning the Kenai, this is what I have:

Kuiu Guide Jacket
Patagona nano vest
FL Chama QZ
FL Llano short sleeve
Kuiu 145 long sleeve x2

Kuiu Guide Pants
Kuiu Attack Pants
prAna zion stretch

Llowa Tibets

I still need to get some wool socks, silk sock liners, wool boxers and probably some wool or synthetic base layers like the FL Allegheny. Considering picking up the FL uncompahgre and another base layer or two for backup.

I've been looking at the FL unpronounceable too, seems like a really nice piece of kit. It is very hard to spend so much coin right away...

For those wanting the FL uhhowdoispellthis and being on budget shop around, post a WTB in classifieds. Buy it in a solid color it will fit in when not hunting. Stock will be harder to get as the seasons get closer. If not finding your size directly call one of their dealers, they may have one not listed online and could mail it to you.
I wouldn't hesitate, visa can be paid back after hunting season.

If money is a big factor I hope you bought a lot of solid colors that can get multi use or I guess you can use your camo for around town too! Looks like you have a lot of clothes and gear already, you probably could deal a pair of pants and a couple shirts to free up some cash. All the hunting companies make great gear no doubt but so do a lot of other companies for a lot less in some instances.

Best of luck on your hunt. Hopefully you really enjoy it, if not at least you can sell a lot of your gear in places like this and get a lot of your money back!
