As of now it’s had no issues and I don’t think I have ever had an issue with loosing power. I simply put new batteries in around August first

I assume you are getting a good amount of use out of a set of batteries then? I will be using the pen for 2 of us. One new set and one backup set for a 14 day hunt? Thanks again for all the help.
