Are you looking to hunt rifle or archery/black powder? There's lots of WIHA but during rifle it's over run. Literally almost had a guy step on me when I was sitting against a tree with orange on.

I know you weren't asking me but i used to hunt the WIHA in those units alot from 2015-2020 and it was pretty decent hunting.... i went back again in 2021 and it was absolute shit show with folks you'd have 3-4 guys hunting a 100 acre property that's that only has a strip of timber 10-20 yards wide going across it. After that season we made friends with a local who put us in contact with a farmer, and we lease his land now ..i drive by several pieces of walk in to and from that property and things haven't changed much at all last several years (if anything it seems to have gotten worse). If you want a quality hunt lease or sit in a creek bottom with a few other strangers and hope a big one wanders by your tree first. If a lease is out of the question I'd hunt one of the big lakes in those units and take a boat if you have it.

I would have reckoned he was bigger but I don't doubt ya. A 130 mule deer and a 130 whitetail look miles different and I have shot a 135 muley.

I'd say 125ish if I was looking at him on the hoof. Its a 4x4, short tines, short beams.
