Anybody own a Kahnke muzzleloader. I've got a model 94( 50cal). No complaints. Simple good shooters.

yip! I bought mine in 2002. Hunted with it on the years I had tags through 2013. It was a great conical gun too, shooting MOA or less with a peep. Bought a 45 cal barrel for it later but it wouldn't shoot conicals well, but did shoot sabots like a tack driver.

watch this short video if you want. my son taking a buck with the 45 cal barrel at 2:00 min. The gun you see with him after that isn't the Khanke. I handed him my Knight before he walked up to the dead buck

Good gun. The 50 cal barrel has lost it's accuracy. I think due to shooting heavy conicals and it won't seat tightly in the receiver any more. I heard Khanke retired, so never tried to have it fixed.

Cool video. I shoot the 460 White or No Excuse conical bullets out of mine. I'm not sure what year I bought mine but I talked to Gordon Kanhke a few times . I believe mine has a Shaw barrel.

I believe the Marksberry muzzleloader and the Kahnke are about one in the same. I think there was a patent issue between the two makers and I think Kahnke got screwed in the end.
