What's everyone's favorite pack for their 4 legged friend?

He's a stout 70lb lab specializing in waterfowl who's looking to diversify his skill set to include back country hiking. :D

Thanks

I'm running the Ruffwear approach pack on my 45 lb lab , seems to work well ,she carried it on a 14 mile trip and it hardly moved at all , just had to adjust it one time after about 3 miles

I picked up a $25 bag from Sierra trading last spring. I wanted the bags detachable, but had trouble justifying the $150 that ruff wear wants. Has been working great for my 75# boy. Fabric is not the strongest and the same can be said for the zippers, but if your looking for a cheap solution, if recommend.

He's dragged it through some tough country so far, no complaining from him! Two buckles under the belly, with the front loop slipping over the head/neck.

The ruffwear doesn't , the bags are attached in the approach , I believe the palisades from from them is detachable

Do either of those double as a regular harness for walks around town?
Yes, the outward hound one does, with 1 small mesh pocket on each side. Can hold a used poo bag which is convenient on a longer walk!
