K3 water bottle holder

This was suggested to me by a member here. The stone glacier bottle holder fits the K3 like it was made for it. And if you install it behind the waist belt slider it doesn’t slide at all and rides perfectly. I forget it’s there.

Looking to do something similar on my K3. So did you use the large universal velcro strap on the SG holster to wrap around the hip belt?

Yes, it fits like a glove. I actually like this design better than the K4 bottle holder. You can wrap it on the very backside of the hip belt, so you don't even feel the weight of the full nalgene pulling on the belt.

It also works on the Kifaru belt, much better than the kifaru bottle holder. Really works on most any belt.

Good to know. I have a hipbelt pouch mounted on the left side of my K3 which takes up pretty much all of the available webbing. Was hoping to mount a water bottle holder directly behind it and sounds like the SG should do the trick. Thanks

I have it attached the same way on my Metcalf also - big fan
