So Ive been hunting on and off since I was a kid, but im beginning to take archery more seriously now. Ive always hunted from a ground blind, im talking always, never even been inside a tree stand. I decided I wanted to give myself the best shot at bagging my first archery buck so I bought a new jx3 hybrid saddle and a set of 4 jx3 climbing sticks with the top step. I dont really need to be 30+ feet up in a tree, actually prefer not to be that high up. So im trying to decide if I need an aider, or if I need multiple or none at all. I wont lie im on the short side at about 5 foot 8, but then again like I said I dont really care to be putting myself 30 foot up. So im hoping someone with alot more knowledge on saddles than what I have can help me out

Try it without any aiders first. If that gets you where you want to be then no need. Worst case add an aider to the bottom stick. That’s where it is easiest to add the aider in my opinion. Hunt from a height you’re comfortable with. Especially at the beginning.
