also wanted to add that I wouldnt consider the kratos to be a stand alone winter jacket and I do not believe that is what is was intended for

Western Mountaineering parkas are the cats a$$! My girlfriend used the Flash for her summit of Denali and loved it. I've been putting the Flight jacket through its paces and it has quickly become my favorite piece of gear. Spring, summer winter or fall That jacket always seems to find its way into my pack. It packs down to the size of a grapefruit, weighs a bit less than the Kelvin Lite and is twice as warm. My girlfriend likes it so much I'm getting her her own Flight for Christmas so I can have mine back. With any lightweight down one must use a wind and water barrier on top of the down jacket for best results. Even treated down clusters loose their insulation when wet
