Well I woke up this morning, but it still feels like I am dreaming. I just drew my first and possibly only sheep tag!!! I don't think I will ever have the budget for an out of state sheep hunt. So I am going to put everything I have into being successful this fall.

It is a first rifle S11 tag, I plan on scouting every bit of free time I have this summer. I am a new father, my son turns 1 in august. So free time is more precious than gold at the moment. Any help from those who have hunted S11 for sheep in the past would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to buy you dinner, meet up for beers. I have already started looking at stats from cpw. But any one out there who has hunted sheep in S11 I would really love to pick your brain.

Thanks & Good luck to everyone this season!

Congrats! Mark your calendar on June 21 for the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society Sheep and Goat Hunter Meet & Greet. in Golden, Colo. Registration opening soon at: https://www.bighornsheep.org/meet-greet/

We will have dozens of experienced Colo sheep a goat hunters on hand to provide unit specific info to help you hit the ground running with your scouting and hunt planning.
Last year we had close to 300 folks on hand for an incredible half day of hunters helping hunters!

We also will have 500+ sheep and goat hunters, guides and enthusiasts at our May 17th RMBS Rendezvous coming up in Loveland.

Both RMBS Meet & Greet June 21 and Rendezvous on May 17 are great time investments for newly minted sheep and goat tag holders to learn from folks who have been in the game for a long time.
