I drew a archery tag 2006 for the area around Ely. I had had max points going into the draw. I have been very lucky the past 15 years and have drawn great elk tags in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. It is really worth building points!

I had a great hunt and killed a really nice bull. You can see a picture of him on the The Elk "Grip and Grin" contest post #12. The Nevada bull is the one in the middle.

Yep, unit 16. Should draw again with the junior program. Maybe these 2 bows I have will get it done.

That is a great bull Robert, I hope to get one at least that big someday soon! You are right about the tracking, the best kind is none at all. Last year the results were out by memorial day, thats coming soon, so good luck to all!
