There are quite a few JRE recently that everyone should listen to. Starting with the one with Dr McCullough and then the next one with Dr Robert Malone.

Whether you like Joe or not, not sure why your wouldnt, The shows are about the guests talking and you listening to the guest.

Only info on healthy living I’ll listen to is someone that eats what he kills

I wouldnt consider Joe healthy. He just has that little guy complex cause he's a little guy, and is a bit mental at the same time. He is a fat phobe and talks about most of us being suicidal because we dont have the ideal BMI, all while he is coating his lungs with marijuana tar, cigar tar and knocking back straight whisky.

But is learning how to hunt a bit and appreciate the outdoors so that is a step forward. I sure dont eat everything I kill.

Unclear on how calling someone a fat phobe because them promote the benefits of working out and staying in shape further the conversation?

Unclear how saying someone has little man syndrome furthers the conversation?

Nothing the quoted comment adds anything the the discussion about the JRE podcast with with McCaster but sure my comment was out of bounds.🙄

Lots of ways to enrich the thread with your opinion on both points.
There is exactly no need ever to reference the device a child uses to describe molestation.

I don’t think he ever said anything about BMI. I’m confident he’s probably overweight per BMI standards.

He does say some dumb stuff at times though.

He’s a stand up comedian and fight commentator. Of course he says dumb shit.

He does however see the world as a nuanced place and looks for interesting and intelligent people to speak on issues. Some of them are right, some of them are wrong, but at least he has the conversations with people he doesn’t agree with. That’s a hell of a lot better than fox and cnn are doing for us.

Maintaining lean body mass and regularly exercising far out weight any negative impacts of an occasional glass of whiskey. 20 year studies on marijuana use show no indication of lung damage from smoking marijuana alone. So how is JR un healthy again?

The guy eats no processed food, eats elk every day and does intense cardiovascular and resistance training every single day. If he's u healthy I must be knocking at deaths door.

Yeah if you inhale thick pot smoke every day for 20 years then it wont damage your lungs! And bong water looks like perrier.

It bugs me that he is always reminding us of how healthy he is and how fat we are but he will do 3hr interviews where he is half wasted on whisky smoking cigars, or stoned out of his gourd.

Maybe one needs to differentiate between mental and physical health!

I think you're missing the point as to what being healthy actually constitutes. It seems like you're taking more of a moral position on weed smoke and whiskey as opposed to actual research on what constitutes being healthy.

Having good cardiovascular health and carrying around lean body mass far outweighs any of the negative impacts of weed smoke and whiskey. Period.

No debate there. And I bet I drink more whisky than joe! However there is something called benign obesity. You can still have some fat under your skin and be healthy, as long as you exercise to work your heart and keep your muscles strong. But you dont have to do it every day for 3 hrs like a fanatic.
