Are there places or outfitters out there who will allow someone to come hunt does for a low price on some of these highly populated white tail areas? I would love to find a place to come down and just stack some does up for the freezer and get some experience with the white tail in general.... dont really have any friends that own land back east so I cant get my foot in the door..

Not very specific, but look into Tennessee. I think the doe limit near cookeville is 4 per day or something stupid.

A lot of archery seasons back here are either sex. If you hunted a week or so public land you should kill a few and it would probably be more rewarding from an adventure standpoint

There are some counties in West Virginia with public land where you can shoot three antlerless deer. The public land antlerless only seasons are generally 3-4 days towards the beginning of December and 3-4 days at the end.

I enjoy a good doe hunt as it gives me a reason to be out in the woods and there is not a whole lot of pressure to actually get something.

North Carolina has 4 antlerless on the license. Fair bit of public options, and the pressure isn't too great during bow season. I don't know any outfitters right off hand unfortunately.

Tennessee is 3 does/ day in most of the middle and western counties of the state, just have to add a Type 94 permit to your license. Shoot all you want.

Any of your Texas outfitters will have Doe specials. Some of those ranches have 3 figure management objective goals. If they are on MLD you arent restricted by your license also. I’ve had to help cull before and have taken 40 in a few days.

Have you got any good hunting in Utah? I'm sure some folks would be happy to arrange a hunting swap.

PM me if you want to talk.

Here in this part of Wyoming the whitetail doe/fawn season allows unlimited tags from September 1st through December 15th. Lots of private land with folks being pretty accommodating, place is overloaded with whitetail.

I grew up in TN. When I left for Oregon, the limit was 3 bucks per season and 3 doe a day. I understand that the limit on bucks is 2 now.

OP, if you strike out holler at me. We can chat a bit and if your seem like a good fit I can get you on private cattle ranch in TN.

Man I might need to hit you up for some info, I'm on the Colorado Wyoming border and thats a lot shorter drive!!

Thanks for the overwhelming feedback guys, I figured good doe spots might be hard to get info on but I guess I was wrong, lot to look through here!!

Could go to MT and make it quite the adventure, see some country, and whack 5 does pretty easy and all cheaper than their Deer Combo license. Or right around it.

Ga has 10 does 2 bucks 2 Black bears and 3 gobblers on the big game license along with unlimited hogs and coyotes and over 1million acres of National forest (800,000 acres) and wma, the largest wilderness area east of the Mississippi. Season runs sep-January turkey runs March-may
