Jimmy John AZ Bull

Only 1 guide in the photo this time. He’s working on his optics
There were many on that team...don't kid yourself.

My buddy told me, they had that bull spotted in U9 and lost it. The team found it later the next day when Jimmy went out to shoot it 17 miles away in U10.

Thats crazy how far that bull travelled......

Eastern MT you see the same thing, bulls will just pick up and roll country.

Ok I'm genuinely curious how this elk has anything in common with a pen raised elk?

Me too. Legal hunt taken under the laws of that state. If people don't like it, they should lobby the state to get rid of the opp.

JJ worked hard to get to do this stuff. No shade from me.

And I just started the elk photo contest for 2025 for all us regulars to post up a great pic. Building the thread now, prizes are listed, will start taking entries next week. Anyone know JJ? Maybe he'll enter his bull lol

I have no issues with these Gov tags and holders.

Those extra dollars make a big difference to the F&G depts.....plus there are a lot of guides getting paid to do what they love- find big critters.

I need to ask my buddy what he thinks as he watches these bulls 300 days a year.....

I think these big bulls that travel that far are solo bulls that don't acquire a harem. I've seen it a couple times...once on a really big bull I shot in Utah, Solo no cows.
