Jetboil Minimo or MSR Windburner?

I have not used the MSR. I have been using a jetboil for about 10yrs and can’t find a fault with it.

Winderburner is a great stove and MSR's customer svc is awesome. I ruined the heater element and MSR replaced it at no cost to me after I told them it was my mistake.

Another vote for the Windburner. It's very fuel efficient and durable. I've beat the crap out of mine for over 2 years with zero issues.

Not familiar with the wind burner, but in colder temps my buddies jetboil was struggling where my msr reactor was still rocking. Might be something to look into if you hunt in colder conditions.

I have a reactor and my son has a wind burner. If I bought a jetboil, it would be the minimo.

MSR is worth it. Their reliability, warranty andnot opposed to hunting made it a good purchase for me. Only con is the weight if you count ounces.

I’ve been running a wind burner since they came out with it. Bombproof and has a bigger heat interface so less fuel is used. You will save that $50 eventually.

Only con IMO is no piezo. Needs lit manually. Unless they changed that.

This was the email response I received when I reached out to Jetboil regarding their view of supporting hunting.

Officially and unofficially, Jetboil loves our hunter “Jetheads” (and anglers, too, if you also love tight lines) all over the globe and loves the fact that they love our awesome gear when they are out doing what they love to do! And we have hunting Jetheads in every part of the world (I just got cool photos from some guys in Africa.)
If they are relying every day on the very best hunting gear, then it makes sense for them to rely on the very best backcountry cook stove on the planet to keep them alive and well-fed, because they know rain or shine their Jetboil is going to work well every time. Why would they – or you -- put their lives (and bellies) in the hands of anyone else?

Jetboil respects and honors that role and considers it a privilege to serve our hunting enthusiasts and fans – and every other fan of any outdoor activity who needs the very best backcountry cook equipment.

Appears to debunk all the rumors I've heard people say about Jetboil being anti hunting or at least hunting neautral.

I was going through this same decision a couple years ago whether to go Jetboil or Windburner.
When you read reviews and comments, everyone seems to like the one they have so I don’t think there is a bad choice.
The thing that swayed me to the Windburner was that every time I found a comment or review from someone who owned both, they always preferred the Windburner, even if only by a slight margin.
