Jet Sled off the Dalton

Pretty sure over the 10 years he's hunted it more than anybody else that regularly posts on here.
Do you know this from first hand experience or just believe this because of social media?

@Nick Muche. You have yourself quit the fan boy! I'm by no means discrediting your experience on the Haul Road. I had to Google who you were, and yup you've hunted the Haul Road ..@johnnycake, but so have plenty of other people. Just because its not posted on the internet doesn't mean it didn't happen. Also, where would we be and how boring would it be if we only ever took/considered one persons advice/experiences.

Aww, don't worry bud! Reading comprehension is hard for a lot of other people too. I'm sure you'll get there eventually if you just dig down and keep trying! You've got this!

Absolutely is.. but that's because of family issues.. if I didn't have a young family and Alaska had better pediatric health care. I would stay here forever.

Insults? Just restating what you had already said. As far as knowledge on the “subject”, I’d say you have basically none. Prove me wrong.

Personally I think it would be way more work to tow a sled than just carry your gear on your back and if you think you could bring twice as much gear because you will be towing half of it, I think you may be disappointed. I ran into some guys last year that tried to tow a sled in addition to their fully loaded packs and they had 2 guys hitched up to the sled and they were stopping about every 20 ft to rest. If you think you can pack out a whole caribou and tow all your gear in a sled over the tundra you’re much more of a man than me. Would not recommend but ymmv.

Due to the lack of ankle support I would not even consider muck boots on the tundra.
Agree, I don't think it would work well at all.

Random thought I had was potentially using an Alpaka raft as a drag/sled. Ground didn’t seem like it would be too abrasive up there.

I'm not sure where your aggression is coming from? Is it because I had to Google you?
All I was trying to say is just because one person has experience on a topic doesn't mean that you should ONLY take advice from said person.

No one actually cares man. You using words like “aggression” (which I’m not showing), “insults” (which I haven’t made) tell me and others all we need to know about you.

How is this not aggressive? I never said you insulted me.

You both obviously cared that I had a differencing opinion.

You posted a mounted bull taken later in the year with no context or trophy shot in the field. And another of a tiny bull cut off at the head on a hitch hauler, in response to me asking you to prove me wrong on your knowledge on the subject.

Try again…
