Jessica's Idaho Bear...714 yards

This is my daughter Jessica's first bear. Shot from 714 yards with a 7WSM. I had to wake her up to get behind the gun

Of course it took a death roll down the very steep hillside...the pack was 800 vertical feet up to the top of the ridge, then 300 more to circle the basin.85 pounds in an Eberlestock Gunslinger...ouch!

Very fun hunt with Jess. Now I have to turn and burn for a few days to fill my tag!
