Javelin Spartan Long vs Standard Leg length

Just wondering if anyone can give me feedback on going with the long legs for the javelin spartan pro hunt or the standard leg length size.

I had a long and height was about right for hunting where I was. Iv also run longer legs on both Harris and atlas bipods for my hunting rifle. On the bench or manicured grass the short bipods are fine but Iv never wanted shorter in the field.

Wondering this as well. For prone shots with the “long legs” is the bipod too tall even when in the shortest position? Hard to tell from photos.

On a bench or a shooting mat, yes. On soft ground, grass, etc in the field, no.

I had this dilemma last month and went with the Javelin original long. I haven’t hunted with it yet, but getting set up in various prone positions, I’m happy with the length.

Thanks for the input. I want to be able to shoot at the range but I know I always extend my 6 in bipod to about 8 inches in the field.
I don’t spend much time at ranges so I wasn’t sure how this will affect shooting from a bench at the range when I go there.
