Jackson Hole in Sept

I caught as many fish wading outside of town as I did on a Snake river full day float. I was with the Orvis affiliated guide service in town. It was 35 and snowing one day, good times.

We ended up booking a half day with Mangis. Thanks to the forum members that made the recommendation!

I’m at that point in life where I do not need to catch a whole lot of fish. It’s more important to me to experience the snake river float with my kid and hopefully catch a fish or two.

Teton and Jelly Stone are my favorite in September. With your timeline Jackson would probably keep you busy enough. Yellowstone is doable but it could be its own 3 day trip.

If you can make it a 4 day trip make the drive up the Gardner and see the elk. They are around Jackson too but I have better luck up in that NW corner of yellow stone.

Tons of moose around Jackson and Teton though.
