To help reduce scammers, lets keep this as a face to face in the greater Phoenix area only. I could be convinced to use Guntab or other escrow to carry the payment plus $50-100 for an FFL to FFL shipment.

From my gunsarizona listing (https://gunsarizona.com/classifieds/firearms/ad/ithaca-model-280-20ga-122638)

I looked for one of these for years and do love it but my Italian 20ga just gets more play in the field. This is a fantastic, hard to find, quick handling upland gun weighing at just about 5.8 lbs.

Condition: Used but good to very good:

Wood: A few marks on the stock, small scratches and dents; checkering is about perfect.

Metal: this is near perfect with no noticeable dings just normal amounts of blue loss from handling and a few small scratches. Bores and chambers are bright and shiny, no scratches apparent after running through with a dry mop. Not a hint of rust anywhere. Rubber buttpad.

Cast: neutral
DAC: 1 1/2"
DAH: 2 5/8"

Beautiful gun! I used to have a 280E but I sold it. I still have my 100. I never understood why the 280 came with the beaver tail forend instead of the splinter like the 100. IMO, the splinter forend would've complemented the thin wrist of the english grip really nicely. GLWS!

Thank you! I personally didn't mind the beavertail, at least it kept my sweaty mitts off the iron while out in the field! Sweat and iron do not mix in my opinion so, in the upland kit, I have a bit of sheepskin shearling loaded with WD40 specialist corrosion inhibiting grease to wipe it down with before driving out of the field. Plus, I guess the barrels get hot if the day is eventful and that means my hands stay cooler.
