That doesn't really lift the pack off your shoulders like that though, does it?

The thing I noticed in the first photos is the frame looks to be riding pretty low. This is a 26" frame, right? Even on taller guys it should be riding higher shouldn't it? It seems that the OP is getting no lift from the lifters since they are basically supporting the weight of the pack which is causing them to move in. It's like the lifter straps are becoming shoulder straps.

I think his 3 bar slider is actually too low and it allows his webbing strap to not be tight to the shoulder strap. Which causes it to slop and move around.

My set up on me does lift the shoulder straps. You can see the connection point on the shoulder straps and the pack- it is at he 45 degree angle or close. My pack is totally empty. This is my 5 day set up, and I am only day hunting now, so using my other gen ll hunting set up.
For him he just needs to move his slider up to the next place of stitching, so it keeps the other set of webbing strap tight on the shoulder strap.

I agree Brad his frame looked very low, But I assumed he has the shoulder straps all the way out of the Velcro, where mine are all the way down as far as I can get them.

I would think Kifaru set his shoulders strap height correctly, but maybe he needs to move his shoulder straps down, cause as you say, they are close to same height as the top of the frame. But he is huge ??
Either way his shoulder strap webbing is loose from his shoulder straps. I am assuming its because he has to much distance between his 3 bar slider and the frame connection point

Can OP put the pack on, cinch everything down and take a pick so we can see where your hip belt is riding? If it is really low then what Brad was saying makes sense- the straps are riding high on your frame.

Wife is trying to get the baby down, can't get her to take any at the moment and don't want to go in our room to use the bigger mirror with him crashing. Hope these will do.

I agree this doesn't look right but I guess if it works for you. Looks like the lifters are way to high allowing the frame to pull away from shoulder straps.

I have the older style frame and shoulder straps but mine has stitching to keep the pad and 3 bar slider together.

Old rule of thumb was 3 bar slider even with collar bone

Yes you are correct. I hauled out my elk and camp with this so I set the lifter all the way up, as I had well in excess of 100 lbs. It is normally in the middle slot on the pack- but currently it is still all the way up.

OP- your attachments show "invalid" on my end. Perhaps I don't have something set up correctly with my software.

The lifter straps on mfllood's frame are too far back to work correctly.

OP - Maybe your shoulders are just too broad  I'd give Aron a call.

My lifter straps cant come forward any further. If you look at my close up picks you will see that the 3 bar slider is as far forward as I can possible get them, and they hit the stitching. No more room to come forward. When talking to Aron about my hip belt location (too much pressure) he said some guys need to run the hip belt higher than normal, and when doing that they also then need to drop the shoulder straps more than normal. Which is what I did. That set up causes the shoulder load strap lifter location to be way back. Nothing else I know to do about it.

But the frame rides great and I no longer have the hip pinch, and I can carry heavy loads for decent for me distances(2-3 miles).
I'm open to more suggestions, but what I have came from Aron himself?

Please give us a call to customer service so we can get this taken care of for you 303.278.9155. Your straps may need some adjustment and we may need to add a stitch to your load lifters above the three bar slider.

Not sure why my pics aren't working, seems they will for about 10 minutes then disappear.

But yea, I put about 35 lbs in this afternoon, definitely much better with the sliders all the way up as far as they'll go. Hopefully will have a deer in there Saturday morning and see how it does over a few miles in the mountains.

When I get a few free minutes this week I'll give CS a call and we'll see what we can work out.

That looks close, if you drop your sternum strap buckles all the way down, you might be able to draw those shoulder straps in even more?

I personally leave my sternum strap undone or very loose, unless I have the gun bearer utilized as it pulls on the shoulder strap.
Just wondering if you have any room to raise the shoulder straps inside the behind the Velcro pad set up?
This will also get you more of a lift on your Load lifters. You may be all the way up on them already do to your height.

After some of the comments here on my set up, I decided to raise my straps up a bit and allowed my lifters to come down about 3" more utilizing their purpose better.

Definitely call CS at Kifaru- they will get you expert advice

I've been using a Hunting Duplex with Mountain Rambler and love it.

Perfect for my uses so far. Love this system, wish I had sprung for one years ago.

I am having one small issue though, and I can't seem for the life of me to get it straightened out.

I have adjusted and readjusted many times, I'm pretty sure I have everything set-up the way it should be and the way Kifaru intended.

My lifter straps are getting inside of my shoulder straps and pushing them out of the way. The more weight I have in the pack the worse it gets. It's almost like the attachment points for the lifter straps on the frame itself are just not wide enough for me.

I hope that makes sense, I'll put up a couple of quick pics so maybe someone here has a solution. When I put maybe 50+ pounds in there it can get pretty painful.

This is what it starts to do when I add weight.

Both sides act the same, I've tried every adjustment I can imagine but can't seem to fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Call me tomorrow morning and I'll get you fixed up.
