WTB ISO: Spotting Scope

Looking for a spotting scope, max budget maybe around $1kish, might be flexible for a good buy. Preferably a compact one! New hunter & looking for suggestions & seeing what’s out there. Might prefer compact, but new and still unsure what to buy. Thanks!

I have an Athlon Ares G2 15-45x65 NIB that I’d be willing to ship for 475$. They retail for 650$, nice compact spotting scope with great glass. But don’t take my word, do your research on them first!

It’s not compact but if you get a little more money together you should look at the Meopta S2 I have for sale right now. Asking $2100, which includes both the 20-60 wide angle and 20-70 zoom eyepieces. The eyepieces alone retail for about $900 each.

Ares G2 would be a great buy. Leaves extra $ for improving 10x42’s too which you will probably be using more.
