Is this a good deal on this scope? Vortex Razor HD LHT 2-10x40mm

Is it worth it? Would you buy it?

I will no longer purchase vortex scopes except for maybe rimfire purposes. And for $800 there's way better solid options out there

Looks like a good deal. I've never had any issues with my Vortex Razor HD LHT and it's been used very hard.

Yeah no 2-10 I found on vortex website. But looks legit if that’s what you want in a scope.

You have to look for it in the Limited Distribution section at the bottom of the Vortex home page. That one is a Midway exclusive. I've debated it, but I think that it's a crap reticle. For just a little more money, you've into the Nightforce SHV 3-10, a better scope.

I had a 3-15 when they came out. Glass was green/cold to me. Turrets were mushy. Just seemed meh so I returned it. I think it was Ilya's pick for a minute so I think I followed him in.

Have used some LHTs hard for the past few years with no issue. I didn't know they made a midway exlusive 2-10 but might have to snag one.

I bought one and mounted it on a custom 22-204.

I've only sighted it in, and shot at 100, 200, & 300, but have not hunted it yet.

Adjusted & dialed just fine, I like the reticle, & side focus is a bonus.

Plus it's not made in Chiner.....

I haven't bought anything Vortex in a long time after going to Nightforce and Trijicon but this scope does check a lot of boxes. I have been eying it for a while now. I have the non-illuminated version of this reticle in the older 1.5-8 LH model and actually really like the reticle for hunting. It's on a 6.5 Grendel AR and I have killed a ton of stuff with that setup. I do agree with the comment above about the 3-10 SHV and for about the same price I would probably just buy another one of those instead.

How do you find the optical performance, light transmission, etc? Is it on par with the other LHT scopes?

Also that rifle looks awesome.
