Is there interest in a 6.5mm 150gr Accubond?

I asked because I’ve seen differences in penetration between the 130 AB and 140 AB in a 270 Win, even at close range.

Again, I asked what your real world experience with those specific bullets in 6.5 cal because you acted like you had experience with them. I was curious to hear your experience with them. However, you didn’t actually have real world experience with them, so you couldn’t answer my question. Not sure why you feel compelled to keep talking about bullets you don’t have experience with?
I’ve had better performance with heavier bullets in the first 3 you mentioned. I’ve had great luck with the 110 AB in my 25-06.

It is widely known that some of Nosler’s ballistic tips are stronger than others in certain calibers and weight cases.

I haven’t been impressed at all with the performance of the TMKs in the 223, specifically. It’s been my experience that heavier weight bonded bullets tend to perform better on game.
So you haven’t had any blowups. Check. Seems like someone with such significant experience with said bullets would be happy to share details rather than resorting to statements like “better performance”. I’m sure we could all learn.

I’m in the camp that killing multiple animals with a bullet of identical product line and sectional density with 10 human hairs worth of diameter increase is highly relevant data. I’d bet there’s as much variation lot to lot as there is in design between a 130gr .264 and a 140gr .277. I’d bet a hunt on it.

Awesome, thank you! Are you swapping them out to the other bullets mainly for BC?
To keep them above the 2K fps mark, I'm considering them a 600 yard and in bullet. No problem with that decision since they are more expensive than I prefer for practice ammo. I like a bigger wound channel on elk so I use the 147 or 156. If I shop I can find the factory Hornady 147 ammo at $32 to $35 a box and use them for practice and hunting. The 156 loads I'm using are also factory ammo from Berger. I'm collecting my used brass from the Berger ammo (comes with Lapua brass) for future reloads with the 156 and N565.
