Is there a 308 factory loading with better numbers than this?

Superformance is pretty temp sensitive in my experience and dirty. Not worth it in my experience. The bullet is fine but I'm not a Superformance fan after the issues we had with my wife's 7mm-08 after using that powder.

Thanks brother good to know, I wasn’t aware of that. In that case, I suppose the federal gold medal TMK is likely as good as anything? Trying to wring the most range possible out of the 308 for long range ringing steel with factory ammunition.

Black hills has some comparable rounds - personally haven’t shot any, but I get 2750 with an 175gr tmk (they offer the same round).

Anything in the 165-180gr range will be doing ~2600-2800fps kind of splitting hairs, just need to find what your gun shoots best.
